An iPad app which allows the graphic presentation of products in a sales environment, and the taking of orders.
Customers are displayed images in high quality on the iPad screen, and orders are placed simply by tapping the item.
A copy of the Order document is emailed to the users head office and the Sales Representative.
Order data is also attached to the email for incorporation into the Users accounting system.
Data is added to oPad by means of a Zxo file. This is a file with the special extension .zxo, which is recognised by oPad as its own file type. This file is sent to the user as an attachment in an email message. The user can create this file or use a file created by their back office or by a third party.
The Zxo file contains data for the following entities : System, User, Company, Customer, Order, Product, Catalogue, Rep and Logo.
Importing the zxo file creates or amends the above data, and ensures that the users files are synchronised with those on their central data facility.
